I am a profesional coder with a strong background in multimedia and graphics. I worked with many programming languages and environment mainly on 8, 16 and 32 bits platforms. My strength has always been in creating solutions that take advantage of every development tools possible. So I cross develop on different platforms to achieve results for the projects I work on. Thanks to my knowledge of digital electronics I developed several retro computer online emulators using both Actionscript and Javascript. Currently I am applying my knowledge in the embedded systems area, and I build firmware for ARM, AVR and Parallax Propeller based platforms. This project has been developed as a demo for Terasic and it's a Verilog NTSC TV driver capable of displaying a 320x200 pixels picture with a maximum of 256 colors. The system generates the NTSC Burst and for the chroma and modulates the Luma reading information from the pixels value stored in an emulated ROM. The demo pictures were created in Photoshop and converted in indexed palette format using the index as information for the Chroma and Luma.

$I worked a few months at this Interpreter for the STM32F0 microcontroller that is very similar to the old Microsoft QBasic. The board I used to develop this project is a STM32F051 Discovery board powered by an ARM CortexM0 MCU with 64KBytes of FLASH ROM and 8KBytes of RAM. This interpreter can run multiple programs at once in multitasking, even in the F0 board with a small RAM. The demo version shown in the picture can run up to 4 tiny programs (from top left corner of the LCD):\n1) Line art demo.\n2) Mandelbrot. \n3) Random color circles.\n4) Random pixels.\nPrograms can be loaded from external devices connected through the internal UART, and are automatically managed and executed into the first free slot where not specified.$

Custom Basic like interpreter for ARM Cortex

I developed this game engine while testing the features of this development board. For this project I built a VGA driver at 160x120 pixels of resolution and 256 colors. the Game is controlled by a simple GPIO interface, but I created also an I2C driver to control the game with a WiiMote controller by Nintendo. I designed the graphics on Photoshop and then converted to binary raw data for the video driver. The game engine is a multitasking FMS system.
