As developer, took responsibility for several of the more complicated defects related to their custom hire and TAM applications involving heavy App Package PeopleCode. OFFICE DEPOT, Delray Beach, FL Aug 2007 – Feb 2008 Project: PeopleSoft 8.9 ePerformance Phase 2 (6 mo) Applications: ePerformance and Custom eComp tool Role: Project Manager, Functional Lead and Developer Tasks/Achievements: This project consisted of building a custom Self-Service Salary Planning tool (eComp) in PeopleSoft and enhancing the Annual Evaluation form to integrate with the custom built Salary Planning tool and Workforce Management. As functional lead, conducted workshops with stakeholders from around the globe, gathered compensation modelling requirements for 11 countries and 6 languages, reviewed functional designs, coordinated testing, and performed all ePerformance application configurations. As a developer, served as a SME to supervise the build of a 100% custom Salary Planning (eComp) application hosted and developed in PeopleSoft. The salary planning tool was built in PeopleSoft using PeopleTools and allowed managers to model salaries for salary based employees in local currencies and languages, view budgets, and submit individual and group compensation changes to their managers. Managers and Executives were also able to review and approve their direct report managers comp changes at the budget or individual level at anytime during the modelling process. Several reports were available through the tool itself, query, and SQR. The entire company's budget was able to be approved by the EVP and once that was approved, the salary information was loaded to Job (HR) via Component Interfaces and the salary info was transferred to the employee's annual evaluation form in ePerformance, allowing the Manager to review performance and compensation data with the employee at the same time. Also customized the forms to be much more readable by adding group boxes and rearranging page layouts such that employee comments and ratings were visible on the manager’s evaluation form without having to click into other areas of the application.
