I have 3 years experience in the Microsoft .Net framework which includes AJAX,XML,WCF, VB and currently busy with WPF. I have developed websites, applications and services. I have also several years experience in Microsoft SQL server 2000,2005 I have worked alone and managed the projects from start to finish. Assistant Designer and Developer on a yet to be launched WPF application Aiding in the design and development of an out-of-office application, this is based on a Service Oriented Architecture. Used: WPF , C#, SQL Server 2005, XAML Designed and built a content management system for the Imperative Informatics Africa website Built a system around SQL Server 2005. This application allowed content on the website to be updated at leisure. It also provided the website with an online poll, for which users could submit their vote on a particular topic Used: .NET, C#, SQL Server 2005 Designed and developed Tellumat Purchase Order Tracking System Designed and built a web base purchase order tracking system for Tellumat. Application allowed the verified user to search for an update on any raised or outstanding order. Application allows the administrator to create, edit, delete a survey and once complete, it allowed the administrator to publish the survey on the local intranet. Other functionality includes: email notification, generate and publish survey results Used: .NET, C#, SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET AJAX Maintaining a retail system for the Foschini Group South Africa Currently maintaining the Foschini retail system; providing database and application support. SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005 Currently supporting Tellumat Looking to develop the intranet around the concepts of ‘Knowledge Management’ and ‘Web 2.0’ Use: .NET, C#, SQL Server 2000, ASP.NET AJAX Currently Maintaining a call centre system Currently maintaining and providing add-ons to an outbound call centre system that is owned by 118 Contact Centre. Looked at ways to better manage the systems sales batches. Have put together a proposal for a new system in which I gave a breakdown of the current system, the pains and the solution on how to overcome these pains.
