I am a 20 year old university student passionate about languages and translation. I have an English level of C2 certified by the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) and autonomous experience subtitling courses, promotional videos and translating texts for video games using platforms such as Smartling, Memsource, Trados studio, Poedit, Aegisub, Sublime text, Otranscribe, Amara and Handbrake and handling text formats such as SRT, SSA, SBV and so on. I'm a volunteer coursera worker since the beginning of this year which has given me experience translating from English - Spanish and at the same time knowledge of subtitling since I am part of their subtitling team , I have translated almost 14,000 words during the time I have worked with them. It has been a very pleasant and enriching experience; besides, I am a new TED volunteer. I am a resilient and responsible person, so I always do my best to do high quality work and find the resources and information necessary to achieve it, I know I have a lot of potential and determination to be a great translator.
