I was heavily inspired to draw this for fun after seeing Avatar in theaters. It was drawn entirely from scratch with a movie still as my reference. On a whim I cross-hatched almost the entire thing and I\'m still not really sure why I did that to my hand. I\'m also pretty sure this was my first real attempt at drawing photo-realism digitally. Not sure how long this took me, as school and work sidelined it for a few years. But if I had to do it again, I wanna say it would take me 2-3 days total.
About Me
I just heard about Freelancer and decided to see how much work I can find through it. I am largely a self-taught artist and have had a pencil in my hand since before I knew how to walk or talk. Even if I'm not used to drawing what you need, if you can provide a reference, I can draw it. (Most of the art in my portfolio are examples of that, in fact.) I am also a writer but never seriously considered it as a source of income - at least not through freelancing - so I thought I'd list the applicable writing skills to test the feasibility of that too.
