I am a qualified and experienced translator for the following languages: Slovene, English, Italian and Spanish. Let me introduce myself. I have I wide range of experience related to writing and translation. Already in my school years I was writing for the school newspapers, collaborating with a student radio and I had several of my articles and short stories published. In 2002 I won the first prize at the international literary contest \"Voice of Women\" (Glas Zenske), and several prizes in national competitions in foreign languages. As a reward for my achievements, I was awarded the Ziga Zois scholarship for talented students. In the same year I decided to participate in a translation workshop led by the professors of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, where my training in the field of translation began. As a student at the Department of Translation of the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, I was assigned my first complex projects. In 2007, I started working as a trainee in the translation office of one of the Slovene multinational companies (Hit d.d., Nova Gorica). In the same year I started to cooperate with National Geographic Junior Slovenia, beginning a collaboration that has lasted until today. In 2008 I translated my first literary work; the second was published only a year later. In 2009 and 2010 I was working on a new small Italian-Slovenian and Slovenian-Italian dictionary, as one of the coauthors. In 2009 I started to cooperate with one of the translation agencies, translating different types of texts (general, advertising, popular-scientific, journalistic, fictional and more complex technical texts). I also gained valuable experience working abroad. After completing the second year at the university I decided to spend a year working in Australia to master my English, while in 2009 I decided to seize the opportunity offered by the Erasmus program and I spent six months as an intern in a company situated in Barcelona. I spent two years in Barcelona before returning home, working and mastering my Spanish. In 2012 I won the 2nd prize translating a short story in a competition organized by the Embassy of Spain in Slovenia and the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, University of Ljubljana. In the 2012 I was one of the official translators for the Maribor - European Capital of Culture project.
