Stellar Planetarium
Stellar Planetarium is an institution whose entire mission and supplemental marketing materials were developed as a solution for an assignment on corporate identity. I chose to create a planetarium whose target demographic was people of all ages, from the young to the young at heart. I wanted this planetarium to be a contemporary and modern alternative to museums and science institutions. I developed a campaign around illustrations I created of prominent constellations, done in a playful, connect-the-dots style, which urges potential visitors to form connections with the museum.
About Me
I’m a recent graphic design graduate based in the New York City area. Though I have wide breadth of skills, from web design to packaging, my design strengths lie in editorial, print, layout, and identity design. I have 3 years of experience of working within gallery settings, whether it be through creating promotional material for events and exhibitions to working within communications teams to create functional press releases and email campaigns. I have a big passion for art history, writing and research, which has helped supplement my creativity by providing an additional strength of in-depth research when it comes to exploring potential solutions and concepts. I am someone who is constantly inspired, whether it is through design history or everyday life and cultures. I’m open minded and a person who seeks challenges: you’ll never find me happier than in a library, researching different ways to solve a visual problem, or late night in a studio, creating.
