Role Software Engineer Management started encouraging me to do research on implementing new technologies like Adobe flex and mule(this is a open source integration tool). This project is the output of my research and framework. We started this project with 2 members later it had been increased to [login to view URL] is challenging for me to handle this project as a lead. We completed this project successfully within a span of Six months this is a great achievement because we have given output by self learning new technologies (flex, mule and we services) within no time. Master Data is key resource of any organization. Master Data Management is a tool, which helps to create and maintain consistent and accurate lists of master data in the organization. MDM includes both creating and maintaining master data. MDM has an MDM engine, Search engine and MDM UI. Through MDM UI you can add the mappings of configurations of different applications and its type, table descriptions, columns descriptions etc. and also you can create, modify and delete the master data. The MDM engine is the heart of the application which controls the total process Based on the application, MDM engine can connect via jdbc, jms, web service and update the master data.. An application that changes its master data triggers the MDM engine about the change in the master data. The MDM engine based on the mappings of particular master item, updates all the applications that has the master item with the changes maintaining consistent across the organization. The MDM has the Search engine which searches the master item based on the search columns. The MDM also saves the critical master data so that the search is faster. Responsibilities • Involved in communicating with onsite and gathering requirements. • Gathering requirements. Designing the same and co-ordinating with the team for the development • Involved in writing Action classes and helper classes using struts. • Involved in coding Flex applications using MXML and Action Script. • Involved in developing schemas • Involved in generating castors. • Performed Unit Testing for all the use cases Selling Events Scheduling System (07/2007 – 12/2007) Environment JAVA, J2EE, TIBCO, AJAX, XML, Oracle, Eclipse, HWF. Role: Developer As I have done some research on improving the performance adding some new frameworks, I got an award of excellent performer. This has given a boost to my career with great extent. The Selling Events Scheduling System (SESS) seeks to leverage the Event Data Entry Platform for process management, automation, data integrity and Showtime Program administration. This system will facilitate planning, booking and execution of Showtime Campaigns and Selling events. Additionally, SESS may extend the MTM Vendor Portal as well as integrate with Billing, IKB and other systems to automate Assortment validation, event closure / billing and other activities. In this SESS we have used Struts framework and we extended that with our own framework i.e. HWF, and other technologies used in this project are TIBCO for the integration purpose, JSP, AJAX, XML. Responsibilities: • Played a key role in developing the framework for this project and added enhancements where ever required • Involved in Communicating with clients on a daily basis to ensure their requirements are being met. • Involved in creating request based JSP pages. • Creating Action Forms, Action Classes and helper classes by using Struts. • Involved in Unit Testing. • Used client side java script much extensively, apparently to make deployment of new changes much easier. • Good Understanding of HWF (Hydus Workflow Framework). • Worked with a team in Developing, and Implementation. • Involved in creating Data Structures in the required format. • Wrote some AJAX pages to make efficient working. Event Data Entry (01/2007 – 06/2007) Environment: JAVA, J2EE, TIBCO, AJAX, XML, Oracle, Eclipse, HWF. Role: Developer I started my career in testing; suddenly I got the opportunity to prove my skills in the development. I involved in fixing the bugs and enhancements, later I involved in research for improving the performance. Event Data Entry is an automated web application, for a Retail Shop. This application has been maintained mainly in Six different levels i.e., Segmentation, Resources, Bids, Events, Offers, Reports. This application deals with the information, which is used to conduct an event in the retail shop. In order to conduct an event the retail shops should be categorized in to different segments, which is done at segmentation level, taken care by higher authority. Resources will contain all the information about the resources that are used in the events. By using the resource we will assign the different resources to the different events. Whenever a new Bids is created, the Bid request will be notified to the vendors by the notify action which is done in creation bid level. Managing bids involves, in retrieving the history of previous bids, which will be modified if necessary, and used to create a new bids. Finally the bid details will be uploaded in the ExcelSheet using Export Excel Action. Responsibilities: • Involved in creating request based JSP pages. • I implemented the paging concept with ajax for the project using display tags and applied it to each and every module in the project. • I applied the Ajax for paging by using custom tags. • Write Action Forms, Action Classes and helper classes by using Struts.
