Global Engineering Services Sr. PCB Designer Aug2008-June2020 Working as Sr. PCB Designer: Responsibilities include completing the designing of PCB projects from scratch to final Gerber data output taking into account the state of the art designing tools for rigid, flex boards by using such advanced CAD tools as Cadence Allegro®, Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, EasyEDA etc. Job description includes: 1. Experience with Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex boards design. 2. Hand on high speed multi-layer PCB layout Design. 3. Convert paper design to neat CAD based schematics. 4. Surface mount, BGA and through hole designs with blind/buried and via-in- pad technology. Layouting Micro level chip like 0.5mm. 5. Impedance Controlled layout. 6. Provide High Speed design consultancy for placement using early analysis and design optimization at system level. 7. Split ground planes and power planes for mixed analog and digital designs. 8. Challenges involve highly complex electrical, mechanical constraint driven designs (requiring 100% manual routing, impedance controlled stackups, upto 10Gbs interfaces). 9. High density interconnects (>32 layers, Blind/Buried/Micro Vias and PTH via in-pad technology), Packaging (200+ pins/sq inch, PTH, SMT, Mixed), meeting client's SI, EMC, DFM, DFA, DFT and Time to Market requirements just like pressure cooker situations. 10. Experience in PCB layout design constraints for mixed/RF signal, high speed signal impedance control, memory interfaces, power distribution, heat dissipation, and optimization for EMI performance. 11. Prepared fabrication and assembly notes. 12. Generated the Gerber package for fabricator. 13. Have work on projects whose have round about 50,000 connection and more than 10,000 components. 14. Understand datasheets and schematics, generating netlists and constraints, and using schematic for layout and routing reference. 15. Worked on signal constraints like physical, spacing and electrical. 16. Worked on a variety of projects like Communication, IT & computing, Analog, RF, high speed multi layer digital designs & Medical projects, etc.

• Need a designer familiar with designing with allegro, to modify a PCB build.
• Designer needs to understand impedance matching, and designing for correct creepage distances.
• Experience designing with EMI certification in mind would be a plus.

1. Remove 2 relays from design.
2. Change LDO to new part (Suggested replacement SC189ZSKTRT), including associated filter caps
3. Add some PCB jumpers, push button switches and similar minor adjustments.
4. Move position of PSU, requiring changing component locations on PCB as shown to make room for these changes.
5. Change relay positions and associated high current traces.
6. Some other minor modifications to silk screen and traces.
Modify Allegro BRD to produce Gerber files + BoM
Experienced carrier board design for the Pi CM4 only. Must be able to provide Gerber file.
