Stock Analyzer Web Scraper
This is a PHP web scraper that scrapes data from Yahoo finance site into a database which is then fed to the UI as JSON. The scraper runs a PHP script that reads a file containing various ticker symbols and uses those ticker symbols to query Yahoo finiance API. The data returns the data in a CSV file and loads the data into a MySQL database. The UI is designed so that each link in the navigation bar stands for a particular stock and the stock data is fetched from the database. The data is then converted to JSON and uses Google charts API to display the data as a graph.
