Alejo Garcerón is a passionate and creative director, producer and cameraman with more than 6 years of experience in audiovisual and filming industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Film Direction and Audiovisual Arts from the CIEVYC, a renowned argentinean institute with international presence. Along his career, he developed a varied and rich experience including different projects as a fiction director and responsible for the post-production stage, leading to a valuable set of leadership and team/project management skills with a sound technical background. He resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and is currently looking for freelance projects involving post-production, video/audio edition and making videos,
Alejo's most remarkable projects include a short filmed on 2015 entitled "1976", that he wrote, directed and produced as part of his filmmaker's degree thesis project. The plot approaches a sensitive topic, telling the story of a father in search of his daughter during the military dictatorship in Argentina in the 1970's. The short gave him exposure in the international filming scene being selected as part of the line-up in several festivals around the world. In 2017, he directed the "TATU" trailer, co-produced with his brother Ignacio Garceron who aditionally supervised the visual effects. This film has given Alejo world wide exposure bringing him the possibility to be presented at many different festivals including the Sitges festival in Barcelona.
