We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, full-time Video Editor to take full ownership of our YouTube content creation pipeline. In this role, you will be responsible for editing both high-retention long-form YouTube videos and fast-paced, high-converting YouTube Shorts. Role Type: Full-Time (Freelance / Remote) Key Responsibilities Long-Form YouTube Video Editing: Transform raw footage into polished, engaging long-form videos by trimming filler, pacing content effectively, adding motion graphics, lower-thirds, text overlays, and smooth transitions. YouTube Shorts Creation: Cut down long-form content and create standalone, high-energy 9:16 vertical Shorts using dynamic captions, engaging visual hooks, background music, and fast-cut editing tailored for max retention. Audio & Visual Enhancements: Perform audio cleanup, sound design (SFX), color grading, and select fitting royalty-free background tracks. Content Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to optimize video intros/hooks, improve audience retention metrics, and pitch visual ideas. File & Workflow Management: Organally manage project files, asset folders, and consistent delivery deadlines. Requirements & Qualifications Experience, Intermediate and Fresher: Proven track record editing YouTube long-form content and vertical short-form videos (Reel/Portfolio required). YouTube Literacy: Deep understanding of YouTube pacing, retention strategies, thumbnail pairing, dynamic text animations, and trending audio/editing styles across Shorts.
