Modify a Macromedia FLASH "photo gallery viewer" movie to include a drop-down selection box that reads an XML file and resets the movie reading differentl XML settings from the "selected" folder.
SCENARIO: We have a library of thousands of photos we would like to display and sell online. The image viewer we purchased offers a robust browsing tool, but only one sub-menu deep. We need to place a selection drop-down above the folder-selector tool that offers "years" among a few other items.
For example the drop-down may look like this:
When a browser chooses "2003" the movie either closes and opens the movie located in the root of that folder, or just resets, reading the XML data in that folder, replacing the currently displaying folder tree. The drop-down tool needs to read from a master (absolute URL) XML file.
It's a simple addition, but beyond my scope of ability.
The .SWF file is attached, I do have the .FLA file for the winning bidder who will provide the updated Version 8 .FLA file and a working .SWF compile.
Payment via PayPal and excellent feedback posted upon satisfactory completion. I estimate this to be 1-2 hours of work for any competent FLASH programmer.
Bidders with NO feedback must provide sample flash files with similar drop-down tool. (I would be happy to give you your first positive feedback.) Automated bids will be ignored, so please put SCOT at the beginning of your bid or PMs. Let's not waste each other's time.
