1. In GeneratePress you can set navigation font colors on a per page basis in the Page Header > Advanced controls in order to work with merged site headers. For example if your default nav color is dark and you merge a dark header it would not be visible, so you can change it to a lighter color.
2. I set the global top level font color in the UberMenu section of Customizer.
3. When I attempt to change the colors on a page basis in the GeneratePress controls it no longer works.
