Wodpress/Woocommerce Website re-design.
Optimizing the site and etc for speed and
Optimizing for a digital membership that gets updated with 100+ new digital downloads every month.
Currently, we host our digital products on woocommerce with the files served from aws.
The site runs a bit slow and crashed about once every 10 days. Besides optimizations, i have many improvements needed in the design and theme as well.
I also have online courses that are on teachable and I'd like to move them off that platform and onto our woocommerce domain with the rest of our membership for a better user experience.
Since this is a multi-step project... new theme, updated user experience structure, and optimizing the server are the priority. Bringing the courses onto the site is last priority.
Our website already gets thousands of users and traffic.. so this redesign and optimization will need to be done well, and done right.
I am looking for someone to work closely with mr to achieve my desired outcome.
I have some examples of things I want done and would like to explore options for new plugins and resources that may help achieve them.
An entire rebrand isnt exactly necessary.
But a new theme will probably be needed.
I believe I am looking for a strong ecommerce developer with knowledge in site and server optimization who is a problem solver and understands the need to prioritize lead generation, user experience and an amazing site design.
--- here's an update with some answers to questions I am getting about this job posting --
The website is [login to view URL]
The main Example of what I'd like done is:
1. We currently offer stock photos as "bundles". I'd like to serve them up as single images for our members to search but I dont know a quick way to:
a) upload 100+ images quickly as products in woocommerce
b) have them be easily searchable (the current shop is clunky for serving images)
c) do this in a way that doesn't slow down the site and make it crash as we do get a bit of traffic and logins from members.
The rest of what needs to be done is:
-simplify the members dashboard and menus so items are easy to find and navigate
- migrate our online courses onto the site compatible with woocommerce. Maybe use learn dash or access alley? I'm not sure.
