Having an issue where as soon as a user logs off and back in, Outlook has to re-index. We're using Office 365, and this is only a problem when using cached exchange mode. I read that this is because Outlook stores the OST file in the user profile disk. I changed one user's registry to set a default OST file location to a share that is outside the UPD, the problem still occurs. Would like this solved!
