I have a long history with dos batch. With NT comes a whole lot more power to create scripts to do most everything.
I created a tool years back called the Instant Network Boot Disk, it was batch files that had been turned into exe's using TurboBat and PC Magazine's BAT2EXEC. The batch files needed changing a lot as some functionality was lost when converting to exe but in general it worked fine.
I've written a backup system now, all in batch that uses some external utilities and vbs scripts.
I need a way to protect the batch files. Here is my problem
The old dos utilities are no good anymore, they don't work too well with huge for ... next loops and the ones that create .com files are no good as my batch files are over 100k.
The utilities from AbyssMedia called Quick Batch File Compiler, and in fact all the other compilers out there seem to work by decompressing the batch files to the temp folder and running them.
Anyone with half a brain can find the code.
The batch files call each other, there are about 10 so Quick Batch File Compiler is good because it wraps all 10 bat files into 1 exe. But of course dumps them to %temp% when they run.
I've looked at many products and they all work in this way, they are essentially wrappers....
Can anyone help. Can anyone re write [url removed, login to view] into a compiler? Or come up with some other ingenious way of running my .bat files somehow so they cannot be seen or edited but keep them working as bat files?
Or compile them with a clone of [url removed, login to view] built in and run them in some kind of encrypted memory space?
Let me know
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this auction.
3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
