Our exchange stopped working. Another administrator made some changes a while back related to certificates. Today we restarted the server for the first time since then. Should be a reasonably simple fix if you know what you are doing. Do not bid on this project if you cannot start RIGHT AWAY or are not familiar with the server 2008 or exchange 2007
Exchange is down now. Here are some of the errors:
Microsoft Exchange couldn't find a certificate that contains the domain name [url removed, login to view] in the personal store on the local computer. Therefore, it is unable to support the STARTTLS SMTP verb for the connector Default with a FQDN parameter of ERNIE.raracom.com. If the connector's FQDN is not specified, the computer's FQDN is used. Verify the connector configuration and the installed certificates to make sure that there is a certificate with a domain name for that FQDN. If this certificate exists, run Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Services SMTP to make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Transport service has access to the certificate key.
The configuration application [url removed, login to view] failed with exit code 1346. Command parameters:
list config "Default Web Site/Rpc/" -Section:[url removed, login to view]
A certificate for the hostname "ERNIE" could not be found. SSL or TLS encryption cannot be made to the IMAP service.
