I have a machine that measures grip (friction) of road/airfield surfaces, and for the road part it produces a excel spread sheet with the GPS info for every meter along with a grip number from 0 to 1.2. Rather than give my client this sometimes massive bulk of numbers I'd like to produce a "picture" of the grip that I could overlay on a map, maybe in a colour format.... Blue=Good, Green=Plan Maintenance, Yellow=Need Attention, Red=Urgent Attention... or something along those lines. I would like the plotted road to be in a format I could overlay and resize to fit my map to give me the best fit. The excel spread sheet has 14 columns with different info in but i only need 4 gps friction number and maybe a couple of others
The meterage starts at zero every time and goes up in 1m increments
Grip... would be between 0 and 1.2 and dependant on the road classifaction would need to show this in the colour of the plotted road.
There is no web design and it needs to be a stand alone easy interface program to run in windows xp
My last survey was 7000 metres long
I need a coloured trace that i can superimpose on a map (no need for online interaction)
please mail me with your user name if you think you can write this program as i'm not sure if I made myself clear as i have had a lot of response from web designers
