Greetings, I have built a pyramid hologram -using see thru Plexiglas and above it there's a regular LCD panel (1920X1080) used as projector (the monitor connects to a Windows PC) here's how it looks in action: [url removed, login to view] (or the attached .gif)
I'm techy but not comfortable with webdesign.
The pyramid works very well with 4 way split movies (as you can see in the link above; lots of youtube movies to pick from)
My goal is to make it show/display: real-time weather (example Accuweather widget) along with a correct real-time digital clock (+ for glowing or moving bits for max effect) the webpage will have to be easily displayable in full-screen (F11)
I presume one page HTML with some CSS or JS can easily achieve it or even flash.
I have made some custom videos for it and I think the easiest way to do it is by simply splitting the canvas (1920/1080) with a large X that give you the 4 triangles of the pyramid (the large X is just for guiding you remove it at the end )
Work in one triangle to get the content/widget working after that rotate the content of that triangle 90 degrees to fit the rest of the triangles ! orientation must be exact like in the diagram (old guy mask shows the correct orientation per each triangle number)
Must display hour:min:sec PM/AM (if possible for the secs to be as animated as a timer) Eastern Standard Time time zone offset is: UTC / GMT -05:00 hours
Inspiration for the digital clock attached ( I really like the retro digital look achieved in this guide :[url removed, login to view])
Font size has to be big to for visibility and I really like the font in the clock snip attached.
The more animation the better. Accuweather seems to have what is needed for this trick (see [url removed, login to view] attached) - Weather to be displayed for Toronto,Canada
Black! a must, maybe insert same blue gradient as the digital clock in the inspiration example.
A huge bonus will be to get random animations to work/pop in the background or with the widgets.
Looking forward to see how you can help.
Thank you for reading.
