I need the following created:
1. create a database that holds the following information
username
user ID
user password
user polling frequency
2. For each user, the following data needs to be stored:
machine name
machine terminal ID
Users can have up to 200 machines on their account
3. For each machine, store the following data
rule 1 time limit
rule 2 time limit
rule 3 error status
rule 4 cash status
Each user will define the conditions for each of the 4 rules for each machine
4. Using user login information from #1 at the defined polling frequency, do the following:
- log into a website
- navigate to a machine listing page
- Web scrape (4) data items
- compare the (4) data items against the defined rule limits from #3 above,
- determine compliance to the rule(s) and store a Red/Yellow/Green status for each machine based on the rule comparison
- store the date/time that the rule check was completed.

So, I can see the following actions...
1. Website maintains/generates a day/time schedule for each user to gather information from the host computer
2. At proper time, website navigates to host:
[login to view URL]
3. Website uses ID/PW for user #1 to enter the system
4. Website selects "real time transactions" from opening page
5. Website selects "Terminal status" from the drop down menu
[login to view URL] this point, the menu box "Select a terminal ID" will have all the ATMs for user #1
7. Starting a ATM #1 to ATM #xxx, gather the (4) pieces of information from each terminal:
- last contact time
- last withdrawal time
- Last error status (blank on example above"
- Current balance
8. Apply RYG rules for each ATM determine if any terminals are in Red or Yellow status
9. If Red, then push a notification to the user (assuming notifications are enabled)
10. Store RYG status for each terminal.
Also -
- add a simple front end to add/edit data in the database
- a simple report generator to run reports on the function of the website
