Read this entire description. By posting a bid, you are expected to agree to a 60-day maximum development cycle. This will be a large job that will likely require a team of professionals who can coordinate together in-house.
Our goal with this project is to tie together several technologies to launch a community-based Google Maps and Calendar site that allows people to schedule events and gather at geotagged locations around the world. This site is 90% design-ready in skin and wireframe and is at beta-version status, so you will be creating it from a rather tight specification after we complete the bidding process with you. You will be able to re-bid once at this point for accuracy... make it count.
Please provide examples of your previous work. We prefer the site to show Google application programming experience, new CMS technology and database integration.
At completion of the project, our company will own the source code. Payment will be completed as percentages rooted in various project milestones:
-map integration with database
-media upload and ranking system
-logins, user profiles tied together with media system
-calendar integration for creating events on targeted pages
-back-end where our publishers can post content to blog and news areas specified in the design document and our admins can enforce our terms-of-service.
If the project is not completed within 60 days, then we reserve the right to withhold 10% of the overall project cost. If you do not deliver by the 70th day from start, a full refund will be issued. You and/or your firm will sign terms such as this before we begin.
