AVID aims to address the isolation and injustice of immigration detention in the UK. We do this by supporting, strengthening and promoting volunteer visiting nationally and working towards positive change for all people in detention. We are looking to re-design our website for a budget of £2500 to better communicate our need and impact. As a membership network, we are keen that our members can find the information and resources that they need. Our position as a membership network means we have an insight into detention that we feel the public should be aware of. This is an exciting opportunity to support a vital cause and raise awareness of the harm that is caused by detention so that we can bring detention to an end.
