We have a website which is driven by the very basic HTMLY CMS. There are three issues with this website which require fixing. Please refer to the attachments for examples:
ISSUE 1 - YouTube Video Posting
By default, there are Regular, Image, Video, Audio, Link, Quote and Static page options when creating blog content on our website. With this issue, the Video post option is broken.
When entering a new blog entry, there is a Featured Video (Youtube only) text box which I assume is for adding the embed code into. The issue here is that the embed code doesn't work, when added... equally...
When you go to edit the Video blog entry, the box is not visible at all. It disappears. What should happen is that the box is available for both adding and editing, and should post the video on the front of the blog between the date and summary text... see...
This is where the video should post on the blog on the blog front page. As a workaround, we've been adding the embed code to the start of the body of the blog post, but this is not good practice. We absolutely need a valid Youtube video section for our Video posts which work.
ISSUE 2 - Image Blog posts
We have two options for posting image content onto our blog. The first is Regular post and the second is Image post as shown. We always post images to a blog so both are the same thing really. A fix will need to be added to both...
When adding either a Regular post or Image post, the option to add a Featured Image seems to be a basic HTML text box. This is not really good for us as we'd like to select images and then display them as a responsive slider on the main blog page.
This is an example of the kinda thing we need. Something where we can select one or more images from local computer and then upload them into the blog post as a responsive slider. We'd also need the ability to name the images. We would only need to upload landscape images so sizing is not an issue. Like the Video post, SNAPSHOT03, when you go to edit the blog entry, the Featured box is not visible at all. It disappears. What should happen is that the box is available for both adding and editing, and should post the image slider on the front of the blog between the date and summary text
ISSUE 3 - Upgrading the Blog editor to a rich text editor
We currently have a very basic set of tools for all Blog posts. These include links, bold, italic etc, but we'd like to explain these options to a rich text editor. Something like TinyMCE.
Please can you quote on all three jobs in GBP. Thank you!
