Job Description:

1) The organizers of a programming contest want to create a site to promote it. This

must include:

 A page with general information about the contest (“Home”)

 A page presenting the contest rules (“Rules”)

 A page presenting the contest organizers (“Organizers”)

 A page presenting the list of sponsors (“Sponsors”)

 A page that includes announcements / news related to the contest (“News”)

 A page presenting the list of participants (“Participants”)

 A page with the list of problems (“Topics”)

 A page presenting the results (“Results”)

 A contact page

The site will have to offer the possibility to navigate between its pages. The pages of the site must be

valid HTML / CSS according to W3C standards.

a) To make a version of the site that uses exclusively the HTML language (without CSS elements)

b) Make a version of the site that uses HTML and CSS

2) To extend the WEB site created in point 1 to provide the following functionalities:

a) Registration of participants (individual registration form) and display of the list of

registered participants

3) a) To make an XML document that the information from the Registration Form for the admission contest to

faculty

b) Create a DTD document to validate the XML document.

 An archive will be created named [login to view URL] that will contain one directory for each
