I'd like an example in C# and VB showing me how to verify a web address is valid.
One glitch I found. I visited a site called "[url removed, login to view]" . It was obvious to me that this sight was not created by the the person who purchased the URL originaly. It looks like the sight had expired and the hosting site took control of it. I don't want sights like this to show up as valid sites. If there is a way to get around this problem then please let me know.
Also if the sight is rerouted that shouldn't count as valid either. The actual web page must exist at that URL address.
I'd like the example to be given to me in Visual Studio.
