StemRD is a startup biotech company located in Burlingame, CA that produces products for Stem Cell research and development. We need a professionally designed website and are looking to get a pricing quote and estimated delivery date.
A word file is attached which highlights the basic site design. Here is some information about the scope of the project:
-StemRD would have around 30 products, but would of course need all the framework of a business website, including:
-An ordering function
-A "My Account" function that customers could log into
-A Search Function (product and overall site search)
-A navigation bar at the top, with subject headings including: Home, Products, Services, Technical, About Us, and Contact Us
-Many of those subjects would need drop-down menus, particularly Products and Services
-Homepage: We would want products listed on the left hand side, the navigation bar at the top, Search, Browse, and Shopping Cart functions in the upper right corner, and the middle of the page to be divided equally among "New Products," "Data for Key Products" (Images for visual appeal), and "Upcoming Products."
The main focus of the website would be on products. There are currently six categories of products, and we would want there to be a color-coded frame for the page according to the category.
Within the category, there are several families. We would want a customer to click on a family, and then be taken to a page which lists the various products for that family. This may include essentially the same product listed more than once, if there are different sizes of it (and thus different catalog numbers). On this page, the information for each line item would include:
Name Size (Hopefully Customizable Box for) Quantity Order Button Technical Info (link)
The link from Technical Info would take you to a PDF. Hopefully, the PDF for technical info will simplify things a bit, as there will not be multiple fields to maintain for the product info. Another option could be an expandable field done in css.
And that would be the basic idea. We are trying to keep it simple, but of course it would be a complete website.
We need the website designed such that it could be edited in a wysiwyg editor online or offline and managed remotely via a browser.
