We need a final step on our website to begin gathering information from our sales reps that are reporting the results of their sales calls. I had intended to learn Access myself so that I could do the work, but I need results tonight, not in three weeks. This is a very small, very fast project. Databases are to be created in Microsoft Access and will be housed on our server space at GoDaddy. You'll receive admin access to create the database. I'll manage it once it's created.
1) Create a database file called “users” that contains username and password fields. The db administrator will manually add new users and passwords to the database. There are only two authorized users at the moment, and only two fields are required.
2) We need to gather data from a form that's already completed on the website. (You may need to recreate it for data capture - don't know.) You will need to capture data from the form when the “submit form” button is pressed. You'll need to collect the data in a newly created database file to be called “Call_Log” and will contain multiple fields in multiple formats, including a date and timestamp of submission plus the username that was generated at the secure login and about 10 other bits of data in various formats.
Like I said, very small and very fast.
