Hi Zach,
We are an education company developing a custom CMS for schools. The back-end is Ruby on Rails (hosted on Heroku). Recently, we have had some issues with designers and developers working with the front-end. We have seen your profile and portfolio and think you would be a good developer to help us fix bugs and continue with development of new features in the new year. Are you able to program with Ruby on Rails?
We have two main programs: CourseCloud and Inklyng. CourseCloud is the CMS for schools (an example of the interface is attached as "Courses Page 2"). One new feature we would like to add is a Grading Window (attached as "Grading Window). This should basically allow teachers to open assignments uploaded students in a modal window and enter a grade/score for that assignment. Perhaps this would be a good project for you that would help introduce you to the larger program? CourseCloud's source code is a bit messy and may need a rewrite, which we could hire you for if you are comfortable.
Inklyng needs to be developed from the ground-up. The goal for this project is to create a website which scrapes other websites for free educational content. Users can also add their own content. Prototype designs exist for this project ("Inklyng" shows the home page design, and "Search Tall Concept" shows the prototype design for search page results).
You can preview CourseCloud at : [login to view URL]

If the interface does not show a wooden background, simply click on the Setup icon in the upper-right corner and search for a switch to select "Alternative Design". This should show the wooden-background UI and will allow you to look around the program to see where things are presently. We would like to complete the CourseCloud and Inklyng projects in 3 months.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I would look forward to working with you.
Kind Regards,
-Chris
