The goal of Phase 1 is to establish a dedicated online marketplace for collectors, players, and local game stores across Australia and the wider Oceania region 1. These accounts require Manual Admin Approval before they can list items. ● Security: High-level security including IP Locking and SMS 2FA for all registered users. 3. CARD DATABASE & LISTING LOGIC ● Automated Feeds (Priority 1): Integrate APIs to sync card data here are some examples: ○ Yu-Gi-Oh: YGOPRODeck API ○ Pokémon: Pokémon TCG API ○ Magic: Scryfall API ● Manual Upload (Backup): If APIs fail, a manual upload must be possible. ● Mass Upload: A feature for LGS stores to upload inventory in bulk using CSV files. ● Slab Verification: Listings for graded cards (Slabs) must require a Serial Number field, to be verified via PSA/CGC databases (via API or scraping). ● Images: Sellers must upload at least one original photo of the actual card to verify the condition. 4. THE MARKETPLACE & AUCTION HOUSE ● Listing Types: Support for Fixed Price and Auctions. ○ Auctions need: Set end date, Minimum Reserve Price, and "Buy It Now" option. ● Condition Type: Sellers must select a standard condition type (e.g., Near Mint, Lightly Played) from a pre-set list when listing. ● Auction House: Home page feature with "Premium Slots" for featured or ending-soon auctions. ● Game Hubs: Specific landing pages for Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and MTG featuring Singles, Slabs, Sealed, and Decklists. 5. USER EXPERIENCE (UX) ● Watch List: Users can "Favourite" or watch specific cards/auctions. ● Notifications: Automated mailing list for Cart Reminders and Watch List alerts. ● Reviews: A rating/review system for buyers after a purchase, visible on the Seller’s Profile (similar to Google Reviews). ● Mobile First: The design must be optimized for mobile browsers. 6. SHIPPING & LOGISTICS ● Automated Shipping: Calculate costs based on the buyer’s location. ● Seller Rules: Sellers can set custom rules (e.g., "Free shipping over $100" or "$5 Flat Rate"). ● Combined Shipping: Automatically merge shipping costs for multiple items bought from the same seller. 7. PAYMENTS & ADMIN CONTROLS ● Payment Gateway: Stripe/PayPal (Support for Credit Cards, Apple/Google Pay, Afterpay/Zip). ● Commission Logic: * Standard rate: 6% per sale. ○ Custom/Timed Commissions: Admin must be able to set specific rates for specific users for a set time (e.g., "Sami Cards" at 3% until May 30, 2026). ● Seller Transparency: Sellers must see a Profit Breakdown (Price minus Commission) before they confirm a listing. ● Payment Holding: Funds should be held by the payment provider (Stripe/PayPal) and only released to the seller once a Tracking/Shipping Link is provided by the seller. ● Admin Dashboard: Tools to approve/reject LGS sellers, moderate listings, and view basic transaction analytics.
