I run a new start-up that sells designer, fancy fabrics and I’m ready to take the business online. The site must focus on selling fabrics directly to customers, so a streamlined shopping experience is essential. Visually, I want a classic, elegant feel that mirrors the premium nature of the textiles, with refined typography, tasteful colour accents and plenty of space for large fabric swatches. Core functionality includes a secure shopping cart, clearly organised fabric categories (by type, occasion, colour or any other filter you recommend) and a built-in customer review section that lets buyers share photos and feedback. A responsive layout is non-negotiable, as many of my clients browse on mobile. I’m open to platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce or a clean custom build—whichever keeps costs manageable while leaving room to grow.
