I operate Eternity Ready Radio on the open-source AzuraCast stack and I’m ready to extend its core. The first feature I need is a seamless podcast workflow: episodes must land in the correct playlists or folders whether they arrive through a manual upload in the dashboard or are pulled automatically from an RSS feed. From there, the station should place each show on air by reading the episode’s release date and then slotting it into my pre-defined time blocks without manual intervention. AzuraCast is written in PHP with Vue, TypeScript, Shell scripts, SCSS and plain HTML, so you’ll be diving straight into that codebase. I value clean, readable commits and quick turnaround; you’ll be paid per feature and this can evolve into an ongoing stream of tasks if we click. I got a web app based radio automation to stream and manage my internet radio station "Eternity Ready Radio". The web app is open source and is called Azura Cast. I am wanting to start modifying the source code of "azura cast" to build out my own features. ------------------- This potentially could become a long term gig for you. You can get paid per feature. But the payouts per feature will range between $15 to $55. The reason for such a small budget is, we are a younger family - christian - community radio station. We are somewhat a start up and sort of new kid on block. So we dont have much funds. ------------ ou must be a fast learning of existing code and work quickly and produce clean code and quality. The first feature will be to import episodes of podcasts automaticly into correct playlist / folders and to automate the scheduling. Azura cast is made in PHP, Vue, TypeScript, Shell, SCSS and HTML Deliverables for this first milestone: • A pull request that adds podcast import (manual upload + RSS fetch) and ties each episode to the correct playlist/folder. • An automated scheduler that places episodes according to their release date while respecting the station’s existing time-slot grid. • Clear setup or migration steps plus concise inline comments so future features stay easy to build. If you can navigate a large SLIM framework PHP project, handle Vue components confidently and script deployments when needed, let’s get this enhancement live and keep improving the station together.

Hi, Your vision to enhance Eternity Ready Radio's automation by extending AzuraCast's core resonates strongly with my approach to precise, clean, and rapid feature development. I’ve worked extensively with PHP, Vue, TypeScript, and SCSS within complex Laravel-style projects, making me well-equipped to dive into AzuraCast’s codebase. For your first feature, I will implement a seamless podcast import system handling manual uploads and RSS feeds, automatically linking episodes to the correct playlists or folders. The scheduler will intelligently place shows on air based on release dates and your station’s pre-set time slots, eliminating manual effort and ensuring smooth operation. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. I commit to clean, well-documented commits and clear migration steps to support ongoing enhancements. Looking forward to your reply so we can finalize the exact plan. Could you please share any existing examples of your playlist or time-slot configurations to ensure the automated scheduler integrates smoothly? Thanks, Asad

Hi there, I’ve seen your project and I can extend your **AzuraCast stack** to create a seamless podcast workflow that handles both manual uploads and RSS imports, automatically placing episodes into the correct playlists/folders and scheduling them according to release dates within your pre-defined time blocks. I have experience working with **PHP (SLIM), Vue, TypeScript, SCSS, and shell scripts**, so I can navigate the codebase efficiently, deliver clean, maintainable commits, and provide clear setup/migration instructions for future enhancements. To clarify, should the scheduler **override existing time blocks when conflicts occur**, or strictly place episodes only in empty slots? These will give you a clear idea of the quality I deliver. Let’s connect over chat to discuss your goals and get started right away.

Hi there, I am interested in helping you extend AzuraCast for Eternity Ready Radio and get a seamless podcast workflow live. I have several experience shipping features in large PHP codebases plus Vue and TypeScript front ends, including media ingest, RSS parsing, and automated scheduling logic. My approach is to add a unified ingest path so manual dashboard uploads and RSS fetched episodes both flow through the same service that assigns the correct playlist or folder using your rules. Then I will build an automated scheduler that reads each episode release date, maps it into your existing time block grid, and safely inserts it with conflict checks so it airs without manual steps.

Hi there, I’ve built feature-rich PHP/Vue apps and automation workflows. I’ll implement a robust podcast importer that handles manual uploads and RSS feeds, automatically placing episodes into the correct playlist or folder, and an automated scheduler that reads release dates to slot episodes into your time-block grid without manual intervention. Deliverables: PR for podcast import (manual upload + RSS fetch) with playlist/folder mapping; an automated scheduler aligned to your time-slot grid; clear setup/migration steps and concise inline comments for future features. What is your preferred default folder/playlist structure for imported episodes, and how should the scheduler handle conflicting slots or edge cases (e.g., multiple shows released on the same date)? Hi there, I’ve reviewed Eternity Ready Radio and your AzuraCast enhancements. I can build a clean, maintainable feature: a podcast import workflow that handles both manual uploads and RSS feeds, and an automated scheduler that places episodes into your pre-defined time-slot grid based on each episode’s release_date. Why me: I’ve worked on PHP Slim backends with Vue/TypeScript frontends and automation scripts in open-source projects. I deliver small, well-documented commits and rapid turnarounds, ideal for ongoing feature work like yours. What I’ll deliver: - Backend ingestion: map episodes to the correct playlist/folder, normalize metadata, support both upload and RSS pull. - Scheduling: place episodes into the next available airing slot after release_date, respecting your grid and time zones. - Migrations and docs: minimal DB changes, setup/migration steps, and inline comments for future features. - PR-driven workflow: small, reviewable commits with clear messages. Deliverables: PR with podcast import (manual + RSS), automated scheduler tied to time-slot grid, and setup/docs. Timeline: initial PR in about 5 days, with quick iterations on feedback. Best regards,

Hello, I’m Ian Brown, a full-stack engineer who is comfortable jumping into large, existing open-source codebases and shipping clean, reviewable PRs quickly. I can work directly inside AzuraCast’s PHP and Vue/TypeScript stack, follow the project’s patterns, and keep commits readable so future features remain easy to build and maintain. For this first milestone, I would implement a clear podcast pipeline that handles both manual uploads and RSS ingestion, normalizes episode metadata, and reliably routes each episode into the correct playlist or folder based on your rules. Then I’d add an automated scheduling layer that reads each episode’s release date and places it into your existing time-slot grid without breaking current station automation logic. I’ll include safe fallbacks, logging where it matters, and concise inline comments, plus any necessary migration/setup notes for deployment. I’m comfortable with Laravel-style architecture, Vue components, and scripting where needed, and I’m happy to work feature-by-feature with clear acceptance checks so you always know what’s shipped.
