Full-width slideshows live or die on how the images are prepared, not the slider library. If the source files are huge, even the lightest code will feel sluggish on mobile. I'll build it in vanilla JS with a JSON file driving captions and image order, so swapping work later means editing one file. Images get responsive srcsets and lazy loading so the gallery stays sharp without the weight. 1) How many projects, and do you have the images at full resolution? 2) Preferred host, Netlify, Vercel, or your own?
