We have a data file that needs the following changes to the file:
1. Rename the single tab in the file to WCKD_InvReport (this one is already renamed in the example attached, but many are not so we just want to rename it to ensure it works) - this file is linked to an access database which is why we need the naming consistent.
2. Delete Rows above the header row (always start with the UPC field in column A), but could be varying row counts.
The VB code has to be in a separate file (named [login to view URL]) so we can add it to BAT file processing and trigger the macro.
The macro file containing the VB CODE needs to have a directory cell so we can enter the directory of the WCKD file to edit as this will impact a number of the same files of the same name stored in different directories per client. We maintain separate data warehouses per client so we do not need more than one directory location being modified at a time.
We will copy the file to a new directory location, update the directory in the excel file containing the macro, and then trigger the macro by adding a line in the bat file.
The requirements are the macro works on office365 excel installed on windows server 2019. The current excel version is Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14131.20296) 64-bit
