I am looking to get someone to create a VB Script to create a button in the Quick Access Toolbar in Microsoft Word 2016 so that when a section of text in the Word document is highlighted, and the button is pressed, it will find a document (usually .pdf) within the same folder that the word document was opened from or child folders and create a hyperlink.
1. It would require that if the Word Document and Hyperlinked documents were moved together, the hyperlinks remain correct.
2. It will search the current Word document folder and child folders to find the document with the same name as the highlighted text i.e highlight: abc in a word document, it searches and links to [login to view URL] or [login to view URL] in the same or child folder.
