We are looking for an integration of "Redmine Ticket Creation" within Outlook 2007 (german version).
Payment Terms: ONLY Escrow 100 %, we need to be able to test the software before we release the money. Looking for low bids.
Following already exists at Remine: ([url removed, login to view])
- Updating ticket via Email by adding some commands within the text
- Adding new tickets via Email by sending the email to the tracker and using some commands.
What we want is:
Each Email can be added as Ticket to Redmine by some clicks within Outlook (very easy to use)
Like you choose the Email and have the option:
- Open Redmine Ticket
It will ask for all the corresponding info (like which project, whom to assign to (the same as you would do it online).
But it needs to gather the necessary data from the online-database (Mysql), like what projects do exist, what users are available for the project (also similar to the online version).
Then once submitting, it could either put the commands within the email and send it, or posts it online, whatever is easier. I believe placing the commands into easier is better for future updates of redmine.
A new ticket is added with the original email content, like it was done online.
And we should be able to add some shortcuts (a simple button for adding to a specific project by one click only). This means, I am in my email list, have a button that calls like "Project A", clicking it will have some default values set, like assiging the email automatically to Project A, User B, (just values that are set as default).
- So far you can answer the email to update the ticket. But you have to place the commands the right way into the Email.
This should also be done easier. But I believe a button that pastes the command inside the email and sends the email is enough here. (could be done by quicktexts too actually, so this is just a small additional feature.)
Please let me know if that can be done or what options you can provide for adding that.
