Videos on Dyslexia Awareness Deliverable I. Creative Content – Develop 4 Videos for Dyslexia awareness (including post-production) II. Timeline is July to Sep 2017. We plan to release this on Diwali which is on October 3rd week Model Story-line A kid, normal intelligence, is seen going through his typical day at home and school. Stressing how "normal" he is in all aspects of play, socialization and family life except when it comes to reading and writing. He is seen to be blamed for his poor performance in academics. Everyone around him sees all other aspects of his life and assumes that everything is "normal" about this child. So it is assumed that his poor academics can be caused only because of his "attitude”. Secondary effects of this are excess stress on studies, tuition classes, curbing of normal play and entertainment. This results in a child that is sullen, rebellious and angry. Then a teacher training program in the school helps teachers to realize that kids like him have "learning difficulties" due to different wiring of their brain. etc. and then this child is helped with proper assessment, remedial help, etc. Above can be a broad story line with artistic freedom.
