We are seeking a highly skilled and creative freelance video editor to join our team on a long-term basis. As our YouTube channel continues to grow, we need an experienced professional who can consistently deliver high-quality video editing, including title creation, thumbnail design, subtitle incorporation, and SEO optimization. The videos will be in English (Highlish), with an average length of 10-15 minutes.
Responsibilities:
Edit and enhance raw footage to create engaging and polished videos.
Create captivating titles and thumbnails that attract viewers' attention.
Incorporate accurate and well-timed subtitles to enhance accessibility.
Optimize videos for SEO by implementing relevant keywords, tags, and descriptions.
Collaborate with the content creator to maintain the channel's unique style and tone.
Ensure video and audio quality meet our standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience in video editing and content creation, preferably in a YouTube context.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and pacing.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices for YouTube SEO and audience engagement.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a remote team.
Ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing content.
Terms and Compensation:
This is a long-term freelance position, with an expected workload of 8 videos per month (2 videos per week).
Each video will have an average length of 10-15 minutes.
Compensation will be based on a per-video or monthly basis, to be negotiated with the selected candidate.
Clear project briefs and deadlines will be provided for each video.
Prompt communication and timely delivery are essential for this role.
