Summary of Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to support our internal team.
The key part of this role is taking the amazing content shot by our in-house content creation team and edit into beautiful, mesmerising videos for various platforms including IG reels, TikTok, YouTube, eComm site etc. You will create and edit dynamic animations and motion graphics, audio and video content and work with our production & creative teams to lift narrative and subtitling. You’ll be able to work at speed – showing draft cuts for review, thinking outside the box on how we continue to create industry leading content and have input on how we evolve our style to drive engagement. You’ll need to be a self starter, highly organised and prepared to work across various projects at one time including editing content for our 4 social feeds (over 1m followers total), creating various editorial formats including ‘how to’ and education videos. As well as editing existing content, this role will have the opportunity to shoot their own video footage too so you’ll be comfortable behind the camera and/or iPhone - behinds the scenes edits, visiting our salon sites to capture treatments in action etc.
We’re looking for someone who is forward thinking with experience and/or interest in the beauty industry, with a good sense of colour, style and trends specifically within social content video creation.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge and Skills
• Demonstrable video editing skills, with a good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects to create animations and Premiere Profile management, colour grading, exporting, final quality control, uploading to file
• Experience and/or very passionate about the beauty industry is a must. Within the nail industry is a bonus
• Deep understanding and interest in social media – with proven experience in creating engaging content for social channels
• Ability to generate fresh ideas and tell stories within the nail industry to continue evolving our brand video style
• Creative eye when it comes to capturing content and ability to interpret briefs
• Interest in and able to produce video content on camera and/or iPhone as well as editing

• Great attention to detail. You’ll be working autonomously sharing content, therefore accuracy every time is essential
