About Us: We are building PaperPlane, a premium fintech travel platform. Our engine helps travelers find the absolute cheapest way to get foreign currency. Our aesthetic is extremely clean, modern, and high-trust—think Stripe meets Airbnb. The Objective (The "Labor Illusion"): When a user clicks "Search," we don't want a generic spinning wheel. We need a 3 to 4-second interactive wait screen that visualizes the heavy data crunching happening in the background. The intent is to subtly but powerfully tell the user: "We are doing a massive amount of work across multiple financial avenues to get you this result." The Creative Direction (We want YOUR ideas): We are looking for an impeccable, stellar design. It should not look like a standard web tutorial loader. The Vibe: Premium, trustworthy, and global. The Global Aesthetic: We want you to incorporate subtle, elegant travel motifs. Think minimalist, single-color vector silhouettes of famous world buildings (the Seven Wonders, iconic skylines) or subtle beach trees panning in the background. It must not be gaudy or cartoonish. The wait screen theme must go with the theme of the rest of the application. The Financial Data (The "Work"): Alongside the travel motifs, the screen must visually communicate that we are aggressively scanning the market. We want to see the math happening. Show flashing, rapid-fire currency conversions (e.g., INR to USD to THB), live transaction numbers, or data streams. It needs to be visually obvious that we are actively pinging local vendors (Niyo, BookMyForex, Thomas Cook, Orient Exchange, SuperRich) and vetting the fee structures of dozens of credit, debit, and prepaid forex cards in real-time. Technical Requirements (Strictly Plug-and-Play): We require zero friction on our end. Your final deliverable must be a single, self-contained [login to view URL] (React) component. Tech Stack: React, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion. Responsiveness: It must work flawlessly across mobile and desktop within a single component using standard breakpoints. Do not build separate mobile and desktop versions. Integration: It must accept a simple onComplete={() => void} prop that triggers when your animation sequence finishes, allowing our app to seamlessly transition to the results page. The Milestone Structure: To ensure perfect alignment and zero wasted effort on our side, we will strictly follow these milestones: Milestone 1: Concept Pitch & Moodboard (Small Deliverable) Deliverable: 2-3 rough sketches, storyboards, or a moodboard explaining your vision for the animation. Show us how you will elegantly combine the subtle global travel landmarks with the fast-paced financial data (vendors, cards, currency numbers). Action: We will approve the best concept. Do not write heavy code until this is approved. Milestone 2: The Integration Skeleton Deliverable: A barebones React component with just the basic state mechanics (start, wait, trigger onComplete). Action: We will plug this into our codebase to ensure it works with our routing. You must wait for our green light before applying the final design polish. Milestone 3: The Final Polish Deliverable: The pixel-perfect, responsive, buttery-smooth final component ready for production. To Apply: Please do not send a generic cover letter.
