Build email service provider

New startup is looking for an experienced software engineer / system administrator / system engineer / email server administrator for a company offering email services for high volume senders. Do you like challenges? Would you like to build a new company from scratch?
Our main customers will be globally located organizations with requirement to send millions of transactional and marketing emails monthly. This business concept is similar to Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES) but much simpler. Our service will be designed with API first design (customers will connect with us via API, there will be no SMTP connectivity).
We would like to hear from you if:
- you can build web servers and email servers
- you understand and can implement RFC related to SPF, DKIM, DMARC, ARC, email headers, others
- database architecture and administration
- API (GraphQL, REST)
- Stripe (payment processor) integration
- Webhooks
- experience with streaming systems
- development environment (Gitlab); communication MatterMost
- you must have written and verbal English communication skills
Skills:
- linux, unix, html, css, js, php, bash scripting, postfix, possibly others. We use Open Source only.
Your character:
- you must be extremely security aware, ideally paranoid.
- you must have a need for speed, there is a difference in sending email in 100ms or 1s
- you must understand that simplicity is superior to complexity.
- you must have a desire to automate, everything.
You must be located in EU. Work is remote. Initially, it will be 3 months contract but we are looking for a long term cooperation and the remuneration will be increased once the company generates profits.
