I am looking for an experienced C sharp programmer and unity 3d user to take on a multiplayer fps project. The project has been started and is basically and well put together generic shooter. And I need help polishing and adding new features. I mentioned dedicated because if we take on this project together at a price, point or deal we both have agreed to, I want to be able to chat daily and as much as possible for the utmost communication and fluid workflow between us, and for someone to be as excited to complete this project as I am. The features in this project will contain lots of basic ones, to more complex one, and I have a whole document laying out all the tasks I want to be done in the project. You will have to be experienced in the networking field as well, I am currently using photon as the networking but plan on switching it to something else down the line. I would also like you to be creative and not afraid to point out any mistakes I may make, or if you have an idea to pitch to me about anything or something that you feel is better. I am very open-minded and like it best when we share and express what we feel and our ideas. This will be of course a lot of work in the long run, I am ONLY looking for fixed pricing on this as I do not like the possible fluctuation of time with hours depending on a lot of scenarios, if you want to put your bid hire with that in mind, that is fine by me as long as the bid is a close approximation of the price point you plan to give me.
In this project, there is of course much more than programming. I am working with other friends and freelancers to provide models, sounds, music, UI and animations when needed. A lot of the work is completed and ready to go but still a lot remains to be done as well. I can provide everything when the time is needed, and if not completed I can provide placeholders until the ready-made work is good to go.
I have here, a detailed document of not all but most of the work I want done for this project. Some things are subject to change but not by much as I have keep checking it over and most likely will be the wording of the explanation of things. Please note that all though I have organized it all, the order of the features/tasks may not be as seen in the document. Attached below will be the link to the document to check out, and a link to a build of the game in its current state. The game is based on a great kit from the asset store to whom I am friends with the developer. It has been edited but very slightly for small additions and the core of the kit remains the same. I will link this as well. The code is very neatly put together, and is very well documented with a documentation pdf file should you need it, as well as asking me questions if needed as well so I can do my best to answer them. One last thing I want you to take away from this before I post the links here is how to code the game. I didn't know how to "name" the process really but what I mean on how to code this, is not say you have to copy and paste the way the project was built though the closer you can get to it without leaving your style, the easier it is for me but not a requirement. What I mean by this is, the Kit has the word "Modular" in it, and this is because it is designed in such a way where a lot of the features can be duplicated or made from scratch using the scripts to create new stuff without coding, just changing the values, adding new animations, sounds, models etc...
