Your job will be to setup a system to dynamically generate unique planetoid bodies with Nanite and Lumen in UE5.
These planets will be used with an authoritative server setup so you need to keep in mind a single server will handle one whole planetoid while the players will be partial. (If you have a method tha would allow the server to reduce load on this that helps)
The planets need sky and atmosphere systems generated with them.
A biome system will be needed for planet surface design. By default it needs to be able to set a whole planetoid as one preset biome type but we should be able to add additional biomes with different coverage percentages and possible forced locations. (Such as the north/south pole)
A server needs to be able to generate these planetoids at runtime as well as having the ability to efficiently save/load the creations.
Keep in mind that players will be able to travel from the planets surface into space and vice-versa.
This work will eventually extend into procedural city & town design.
You must have experience in Nanite and Lumen and be able to demonstrate the experience.
