Need about 6 to 10 pages worth of English translated into Dutch and moved from his old site to his new site.
Old site: [url removed, login to view]
His new site will run on the same domain, but for reference this is a vanilla copy of the script: [url removed, login to view]
The new script uses templates for personalisation and text. Some text is modified through a manager (like wordpress), and the rest from a single language file.
The language file and perhaps 3 or 4 of the template files will need to be modified. You will need basic html skills.
Speaks Dutch and thinks he can speak English. Most of the time I haven't a clue what he's talking about but decipher what he wants from product orders. He insists he wants me to handle the translation as part of the migration between the two (and it's too much effort to say no).
He probably wants a creative wordsmith to make a better job of it than he can, so take that into consideration, however as you can see from the above this is not a high pressure task.
Either a native Dutch speaker or very close (My dad's fluent in Dutch but he's 80 and still thinks a web is something you find in the garden).
Basic HTML skills, this is just so you know how to convert text that includes tags such as bold and italic so it's unlikely this will be a barrier.
A little creativity in converting the text. We need more than "Vuil water blust ook een brand" which is how my dad described himself when asked if he would help (and if you understand that then you are in with a chance!).
