I am getting ready to build my third home-built vehicle. For this project, I have decided to recreate the Ford Bronco concept vehicle that was recently announced. There are pictures all over the internet - you can run a google search for "Ford Bronco Concept" and have plenty of images to work with.
What I would need is an accurate 3D model made (Separated into main body, wheel flares, and Mirrors and other accents). Small details like door handles, windshield wipers, etc need only be very low poly, or not even added at all. The basic adea is to have an accurate model of the body only (fairly low poly is fine), from which I will make my plug mold from. Being only a very average modeler with limited tools, outsourcing this would be the best thing for me. Another interesting note is that the vehicle is very "boxy" so it should be easy for an experienced modeler to handle.
I am open to fair bid suggestions, and quite honestly don't know what price range to expect. I would like to get started as soon as I can start reviewing some bids to get an idea of how much this should cost.
Thanks for your time.
Edit: I should explain what I need a little bit better. This is really a pretty low poly project - No need for interior, wheels, axles, engine, etc. Just the body of the vehicle. More important than the polycount is the dimensional and proportional layout. It can probably be made out of cube primitives for the most part, with corners beveled at 45 degrees then turned into a nurbs object or something similar. Once you see the vehicle you will know what I mean. Thanks again.
1) Model Ford Bronco Concept vehicle body - separated into a- Main Body, b-Wheel Flares, c-Accents (front grille, rear tailgate, sideview mirrors)
2) I will also need cross section slices of the vehicle taken aproximately every 12 inches from front to rear.
3) I'm making my final decision on the donor vehicle chassis right now (most likely from a mid-80s Bronco II) - I will try to keep the wheelbase and track dimensions as close as possible to that of the concept vehicle, however, these dimensions may vary and therefore I would require that this is taken into consideration while modeling. I will have this information available for the winning bid.
I would prefer Truespace native fileformats, but also .x and .3ds will be fine.
