OpenGL 3DText Delphi Components

We are looking for an expert OpenGL coder to develop a component/or a suite of components, using Borland Delphi 7, to be integrated in a project of ours that use the GLScene environment, to create and visually edit 3DText fonts extrusions. Basically we need it to include in our applications a sort to "gallery" of predefined 3D text models (fancy extrusions, borders, multiple bevels, smooth corners, shadows, textures, etc.) and be able to apply such 3D look to any text (using standard Windows TT/OT fonts). All the features should also be available via dialogs and property editors. Relevant properties should be animatable. Everything should work and behave as the other standard Delphi components, both at design time and at run time. The final result, in our own applications, need to be similar to what is produced, as an example, in Xara3D (download a trial version to see how it works) or similar programs/utilities. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working sample program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done with detailed documentation in English. 2) Source code should be entirely in Borland Delphi 7 - The components should be integrated with the GLScene ones available at: <[login to view URL]> and should derive from them. Pascal code should be written in a style as close as possible to the Borland Object Pascal Style. If no one is able to code directly in Delphi, as a second choice, we could accept a DLL with source code written in pure C language to be interfaced by our own Delphi code to provide the requested functionality at lower level. In such a case we will request to provide a detailed C API with commented samples calling the developed DLL that will demonstrate each of the API calls. In this case too all the C source code should be provided and should contain references only to standard libraries freely available for Microsoft C compilers (ANSI compliant) to be used in the Microsoft Windows operating systems. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition with a software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. Moreover the setup should, on request, install and integrates the components in the Borland Delphi 7 environement. In the case of a standard Ansi C based DLL (for Windows 32 operating system) all the source code should compile with standard Microsoft C compilers. The coder should provide all the source code, the include files, the make files, for the DLL and the samples and also a binary version of the DLL and of the C samples. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2K/XP/2003 using the latest available OpenGL engine on that platform. Use of specific hardware dependent OpenGL shaders should be avoided.
