Please provide your price Deadline : 15 March ANSYS Simulation Services Project: Design & Simulation of Thermoelectric Generators (TEGs) for Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Incinerator Exhaust Software: ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2025 R2 (SOLID226) ⸻ 1. PURPOSE To develop a fully coupled thermo-electric-mechanical finite element simulation framework for Thermoelectric Generator (TEG) modules operating under WTE exhaust temperatures (600–900 K). ⸻ 2. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall perform the following tasks: ⸻ A. Baseline FEM Model Development • Develop a parametric 3D unicouple model (P-leg, N-leg, copper pads, ceramic substrates) • Implement temperature-dependent material properties: • Seebeck coefficient α(T) • Thermal conductivity k(T) • Electrical resistivity ρe(T) • Mechanical properties (Young’s modulus, CTE, Poisson’s ratio) • Perform steady-state coupled thermo-electric simulations • Extract voltage, current, power, efficiency, and temperature distribution ⸻ B. Material Comparison Study Simulate and compare the following thermoelectric materials: • Bi₂Te₃ • Skutterudites • Half-Heuslers • Oxide-based materials Deliver a comparative performance matrix and ranking. ⸻ C. Geometric Optimization • Conduct parametric sweeps for: • Leg length • Cross-sectional area • Segmentation configurations • Identify optimized geometry for maximum power output and efficiency • Provide performance curves and sensitivity analysis ⸻ D. Thermo-Mechanical Reliability Analysis • Perform structural analysis under thermal loading • Evaluate Von Mises stress and CTE mismatch • Simulate thermal cycling and fouling-induced temperature gradients • Identify potential failure regions ⸻ E. Integration Concept Development • Develop conceptual TEG array integration within WTE exhaust ducts • Estimate recoverable power output • Provide packaging and feasibility recommendations ⸻ 3. DELIVERABLES The Contractor shall provide: • Fully commented APDL scripts • Temperature-dependent material property database • Simulation result files (.rst, .dat, etc.) • High-resolution contour plots • Optimization report • Reliability assessment report • Integration concept report • Publication-quality figures All deliverables shall be provided in editable digital format.
