Software Testing

Test a history eraser utility (attached) until all requirements are met. The utility is targeted to launch in 1 week. 1) **To help us see you're qualified, please submit your bid with a test matrix covering all aspect of the spec (see below)**. Please also state how long it will take you to complete one test pass for the matrix. 2) The developer working on this tool will release a build at least once a day. Your job will be to go through the test pass for each release and determine what doesn't work as specified. 3) You must have all the platforms & software available to yourself to conduct the testing. We do not provide testing hardware/software except for the utility being tested. 4) For each test in the test matrix, record the whole process of the test as an animated gif (using <[login to view URL]> ) such that it can be verified. Each tab has a list the items to be deleted as checkboxes. User can check/uncheck an item for deletion. outside of the tabs, there's a checkbox which says "force auto reboot after clean up". the dialog will have an OK button. When clicked, a configration INI file will be generated to record the user's chosen options. 2) MFC dialog box app which shows a dialog box with a progress bar and a text label below it. The program will execute the options recorded in the configuration INI file. The progress indicates how much the cleanup has progressed. The status will be shown in the text label below the progress bar. When completed, the program will force auto reboot if the user has chosen to do so in the configuration file. If not, it will prompt the user to click OK to reboot the system to complete cleanup. ==== 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Win95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003
