I need daily help phoning medium-to-large Canadian firms (about 100–500+ staff) to find out one simple fact: which carrier currently handles their group benefits or pension plan. Think Manulife, Sun Life, Canada Life and similar names. No selling, no pitching—just polite, professional fact-finding. Here’s how the flow works. You ring the main line, reach the HR or payroll contact and note the provider they mention. If you land in voicemail, just try again later rather than leaving a message. As soon as you have the answer, you open the shared Google Sheet and log three items—company name, benefits/pension provider, and province (flagging Québec, Ontario or other). That’s it. I’m aiming for at least 100 fresh, fully completed records every week. An entry-level caller with a clear phone manner will do fine; fluent English is essential and any French you have is a welcome bonus when you’re dealing with Québec numbers. You’ll need a reliable phone setup and be comfortable updating Google Sheets in real time. If that sounds straightforward, let’s get started right away so we can build a clean dataset together.

Most callers can make the call — the real value here is getting the correct HR/payroll contact, asking the right question, and recording the answer accurately. I have solid experience in B2B calling, lead research, data collection, decision-maker identification, and Google Sheets. I can call Canadian businesses, reach the appropriate HR/payroll contact, politely confirm their current benefits or pension provider, and keep the shared sheet clean and updated in real time. I understand there is no selling involved, so I’ll keep the calls short, professional, and focused only on collecting the required information. I can also make follow-up attempts when calls go to voicemail. I’m comfortable working toward the 100+ verified records per week target and can start quickly. If you share the company list and calling process, I’m ready to begin with a small batch and prove the quality first.

Before the method, the number. Getting an HR or payroll person to name their benefits carrier to a stranger on the main line is a low-single-digit success rate. Gatekeepers screen it, and the ones who do answer often treat carrier information as internal. A large share of what you want is already published. Companies with registered pension plans file with OSFI or the provincial regulator. Public companies name their carriers in filings. Union agreements list them. Job postings frequently name the provider in the benefits section. So I would work the desk sources first and only call what is left. Same 100 records a week, more of them verifiable, and each row carries its source so you can see which are documented and which are one person's word on a phone call. On the calls themselves, one caution worth having in writing. Genuine research calls sit outside Canada's telemarketing rules, but a call that is really prospecting dressed as research does not. Whoever calls should say who they are and who they are calling for, plainly. I will not have anyone imply they are from a regulator or the carrier. Bid covers the first 100 records so you can judge the hit rate before committing to a weekly run. What sector and size band should I start with, and do you want renewal dates captured where they are public? That is usually the field that actually decides who you call.
