I have several highly technical research papers that must read as though they were originally written in Spanish, not simply converted word-for-word. The source texts arrive in English, dense with specialized terminology and discipline-specific jargon. Your job is to deliver a polished Spanish version that preserves every nuance, equation, table, citation style, and authorial voice. Scope of work • Translate full manuscripts (average 6,000–8,000 words each) from English to Spanish. • When a section is missing in the source, draft the Spanish copy from my notes so the final paper is seamless. • Maintain original formatting, figure captions, in-text citations and reference list (APA/IEEE as provided). • Compile a short bilingual glossary for any critical terms that lack a direct one-to-one equivalent. Acceptance criteria 1. Terminology is consistent throughout the paper and aligns with accepted usage in peer-reviewed Spanish journals. 2. All tables, formulas and references match the originals and require no re-layout on my end. 3. The translated manuscript passes a native-speaker readability check and automated QA in SDL Trados or equivalent. Please include a brief sample (500 words max) from a comparable scientific translation, your expected turnaround per manuscript, and any CAT tools you routinely use (Trados, Wordfast, MemoQ, etc.). I’ll share the first paper and outline milestones as soon as we confirm fit.
